It seems the trend lately is to get more community member involvement here, and I have to say, it's been fun meeting so many of you. Posting pictures and videos is coming out to be the most popular method, but I'm afraid I have neither, so I thought of something else I might throw out there.
I'm a writer for a few places, and of course I do essentially all of my writing high to some extent. For that reason just posting some things I wrote high was pretty impossible, so I thought I'd include a few assignments I had to do for a creative writing project that are actually about the experience of using pot. The first two are part of a series of papers in which we had to describe a sensory experience, so I ended up writing out the ride of two pretty strong strains. The last is a really shitty poem we had to write about coping mechanisms. I'll admit none of it's my best, but just quick assignments, but they're the only ones I had that directly related to pot use.

Hello my fellow Cannabis lovers! Today we re-upped, and it was with a new guy. He gave us a 35g oz of some Grapefruit! How sweet is that? We ran dry two days ago, and today we got the hook up!
It is definitely hitting me like crazy. I feel like if I close my eyes I'm falling backwards! I decided to take a break from The Office marathon that's on, and post. I noticed everyone has posted pictures lately, so I thought I would post a few pics! Some is of some bud we smoke, plants from last season we harvest a few months ago grown outdoors, a few of my pets, and whatever else I throw up there.
Do you have a funny story while blazing? In the car? at Krystals? At a party? Let's hear them! I hope you like the pictures!

Have you ever been discussing with your friends about a mutual friend or acquaintance and you get to the other person's sexual orientation--at which point someone says, "Oh, (s)he's gay. Or at least bi"? This could happen because you know the other person has dated someone of the same sex, or simply because (s)he sets off the gaydar or bidar.
Why do we say that? I'm guilty of it. I've said it a number of times. I've heard my friends say it.
On the one hand, I guess it's good, because it's recognizing bisexuality and it acknowledges that not only gay people can like people of the same sex.
On the other hand, it makes out bisexuals to be like "lesser" gays.
Have any of you heard people say this? What do you think about it?

My second lot should be ready to harvest in around a week.
I got sum mental plants growing: Exodus Cheese, Cherry Phycosis, G13, and just Standard Cheese- 15 plants in total.
Thing is though, last time I harvested I came out in a itchy blotchy red rash all over my hands, arms and neck. I'm not to sure what it was; it cleared up within a week. has this happend to any of you? and is there anything i can do prevent this again? Also what is it ? could it be to do with the zap or could it be the high levels of thc in contact with the skin for long periods of time?
i've never known this 2 happen 2 any1 so any info would be greatly apreciated (:

Hello, my name is Angela. =] I live in Eastern Kentucky and
I am eighteen years old. Starting school in January. Right
now my major is Medical Information Tech, but I may
be changing it to nursing after my first semester. I
have a boyfriend with whom I will be living after
this coming Saturday, actually. I enjoy cooking,
eating, taking photos of just about everything,
Harry Potter, fashion, anything strange, HK,
and video games (especially old Nintendo
systems, Xbox 360 and a few MMOs as
of late). Music-wise I love Brand
New and I think that I always
will. I also enjoy rap music
and The Beatles. Movie-
wise I like superhero

I went to a Pro-Pot meeting the other day at one of our good coffeehouses a week ago, and it was great!
I was indulging all the information given to me that night; so accurate! On January 28th we're gathering at one of our local libraries to watch The Union: The Business Behind Getting High; you know, the one with Tommy Chong in it?
I get to play a set before hand. They're having a mini acoustic concert with a few other people playing, as well.
We're trying to do some fundraising for the group so that we can do more activities to support the weed community and inform the non-marijuana smokers the benefits of smoking Cannabis; and by doing so we have been making hemp jewelery as well as other forms of art.
Are there any groups or are there Pro-Marijuana activities like this in your community?

so, i want to make cupcakes for my friends and i on new year's eve. i've never cooked with weed and the powers of google aren't really helping too much (and googling stuff about weed makes me feel like a huge tool, haha). so, for all of those who have eaten their smoke before -- any helpful tips, recipes, things i should know, etc etc? i'd love to hear some personal stories/experiences :)
and, some questions --
how much do i use? there's going to be about 8-10 of us and i'm assuming it varies from smoker to smoker. we all average about a quarter a week (because we have jobs, otherwise it would be twice that, lol). since some of us are lighter smokers than the others, i was thinking that might be enough and those who smoke heavier could just eat more than the others but for some reason, that amount just seems small to me? (or maybe that's just because i smoke more than all of them combined, lol).
and the best method to bake them? should i melt the weed with the butter first or just throw it in the batter before baking? does it matter? i heard butter can mean burning disasters, so is there something else you suggest? (and would making brownies be more ideal than cupcakes?)

Hey everyone, i am new to LJ so looking for like minded friends and so forth, but of course before people add me or think about it, ill put a little bit about me first. :)
First thing's first, i am 25 years of age, living in cornwall in england, engaged to a wonderful guy and together we have a 2 and half year old daughter. Life is busy with those two and a manic cat and of course with my old hobbies and movements i pretty much do not have a single moment to myself until 7pm each evening but that suits me :) Other than that i am a qualified nurse although at the moment i am just raising my daughter whist my partner works... i just do not seem to have the heart anymore to go in be a nurse in the way concidering how the way the nhs has become and the way hospitals are now run i cannot become part of that side anymore but thats too much information.
Other than what i have said above i have a huge desire to create jewlerry which i am currently working on some new designs and how best to mold them. I am a huge fan girl to jdramas well any korean dramas to be honest same with taiwanese as long as the story is good, characters worth watching i dont even notice the fact im reading it. Best way to be. Some of my favourites are hana yori dango, hana kimi [jap version too], devil beside you, why why love, liar game, gokusen 1,2,3, your beautiful, kimi wa peto and loads loads more. :)
Music wise i adore everything and anything except a lot of classical. At the moment i tend to be listening to a lot of foreign music from a lot of korean bands such as Arashi, kattun, news, gackt, dbsk, rainie yang, boa, kodi kumi, wonder girls and loads more from that genre. Other than that i a fan of some old music such as stuff from meat loaf, ub40, sting, davie bowie, phil collins, rod stewart, drifters, commodors, fleetwood mac, michael jackson, four seasons and many more.
I adore rap and hip hop and its weird for a girl to like them so much but some of the songs are brilliant, not all about shooting people up which is good. Some of my fav artists are ndubz [i see them more as hiphop than pop tbh], 2pac, snoop, dre, eminem, dmx, lil wayne, flo rida and a lot more.
As for movies i am a fan of the twilight series, [ i know sue me rofl]. harry potter, lotr, whoopy goldbergs movies, jim careys movies, bruce willis movies, snatch, menace to society, boys n the hood, kidulthood, adulthood, will smiths movies, disney [lol always been a fan and with lil one i have to be with the ammount she watches them], i like some horrors, mostly comedys and some dramas i do enjoy a tear jerker here and then but not all the time.
tv series haha i am such a geek i am mad on csi i have box sets of miami and ny at the moment, Also love torchwood and doctor who, cannot seem to get enough of that series, Numbers is a new one i have become to like because it is slightly different approach to a crime series. Ghost whisperer i got into this from day one and never really stopped watching it. doctor quinn medicine women i am a fan of as i watched this when i was younger, much younger and really enjoyed it and just recently noticed there showing it again so ive gone and gotten into it all again, soldier soldier adore this series got boxset of it also as i am a squaddys daughter i can relate to a lot of what is shown in there and i suppose it brings back memories for me. xfiles again got whole series told ya i was a utter geek.
Huge fan of anime such as spirited away, howls moving castle, fireflys, princess mononoke pretty much all his work, fruit baskets, zoe, hack, hellsing, trigun, FMA, wolves rain, blood last vampire, vampire hunter d, fusugi yugi, chobits, trinity blood and many more which i really cannot remember right now.
other than that i am a full blown gamer when i get the time, i played legend of ares before it closed down, hoping for it to be released again as it was one of the best pvp games out there today. i play jade dynasty and run a alliance there it is a pretty good mmo and pvp isnt too bad if you go into the pvp realms but sadly it doesnt compare so much with loa. :) i am on gaia online as a community :). Hm i am a final fantasy fan, have xbox live and pretty much love any rpg, drama games there are including a lot of fun ones. i have a lot of consoles from olden days and i must say i still love my ps2 as it has all the early ffs on it, legend of dragoon, alundra, vagrant story, kodelka, shadow hearts and many more plus sing star which i must say is very fun when you have a house full xD
Hm damn this is long what else, i am mad on makeup and everything to do with it. :) so expect a lot about that and also probably some tutorials as well XD
